I would highly recommend the LINGO coding kit to teachers. I was introduced to LINGO in November 2021 and I have been recommending LINGO to use in class and in clubs that are STEM-focused. I have also recommended LINGO to University STEM Certificate instructors to use in their adult certificate programs.

LINGO has opened up the possibilities of technology careers and hobbies to many of my students. Because of LINGO, I have students that now know that they are capable and confident in exploring STEM.

Ms. Williams

TEACHER, Riverview Gardens High School
  1. The LINGO coding kit is an excellent STEM project for teachers to utilize in the classroom. The teacher does not need extensive background knowledge of coding, the LINGO kit has lessons that students can easily follow. The students have fun learning how to code and the kit is related to real-world problems students encounter in their everyday life. In addition, the kit ignites the students' interests in STEM and helps them make the connection to STEM related subjects.
  2.  The LINGO kit provided students with the project-based, problem-solving interactive learning experience. They were afforded the opportunity to build, code and problem solve. Prior to this project, many students had never seen a breadboard nor understood its purpose. After the project students wanted to learn more and discover careers connected to electronics, coding and computers.

LINGO is an amazing INROADS partner and has been instrumental in delivering STEM programming for our scholars in College Links, a nationally recognized STEM/Coding Pre-College program. I am excited about the launch of LINGO, and the digital transformation of learning and education.
